Someone said to Jesus, “I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus answered, “Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” (Luke 9:57-62)

St. Paul writes to Timothy: Announce God’s word; be ready to do it whether it is convenient or inconvenient. Correct, challenge, and encourage with patience and careful instruction. (2 Timothy 3:14—4:2)

Jesus, knowing that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father, having loved those who were his in the world, now loved them to the end. (John 13:1-15)

Jesus said: Whoever comes to me, listens to my words and acts on them is like someone building a house who digs down deep and lays the foundations on rock. (Luke 6:46-49)
